This study was carried out to utilize and to develope the combination adhesive from PF(Phenol formaldehyde adhesive) and TCA(Trichloroacetic acid)-precipitated blood powder for the manufacture of plywood. The results were as following; 1)In dry tensile shear strength of plywood, 100parts of PF (solid content: 20%) added 15parts and 20parts of TCA-precipitated blood powder, 100parts of PF (solid content: 10%) added 25parts of TCA-precipitated blood powder, and UF control showed best value They didn ¡¯ t show the statistical difference. 2)In boil tensile shear strength of plywood, all combination adhesives met the KS standard of boil test. PF(solid content : 20%) added TCA-precipitated blood powder and PF(solid content: 50%) added wood flour filler didn¡®t show the statistical difference. 3)In the test of formaldehyde emission, the difusion rate of formaldehyde of all PF-blood combination adhesives showed below 0.5 ppm and met the E-O grade of JIS(Japanese In- dustrial Standard).
