¿ä¾à2 Hardboards are made from physical composition and chemical change of the various treatments of raw materials by newly developed processes, and these products have various multilateral uses. On this research we fabricated ONP(old newspaper) fiber mixed hardboard with ratios of ONP fiber to wood fiber of 0 to 100(control), 30 to 70, 50 to 50. Using PMDI and fabricated surface layer acetylated harddboard with surface layer acetylated fiber to inner layer untreated wood fiber of 0 to 100(control), 30 to 70, 50 to 50. On the physical properties of ONP fiber mixed hardboard, water absorption and thickness swelling decreased with increasing of ONP fiber mixed level. On Mechanical properties, bending strength decreased with increasing of ONP fiber mixed level, but internal bond strength increased with increasing of ONP fiber mixed IeveI. The physicl properties of surface layer acetylated hardboard were improved by increasing of ratios of surface layer acetylated wood fiber. However mechanilcal properties Were decreased with increasing of composition ratios of surface layer acetylated fiber.
