¿ä¾à2 In 1990, Ministry of Education, published, 'The study about model of architectural plan of elementary schools', which suggested the facilities model of the elementary schools, and the fact that this had been reflected of the architectural plan of the nationwide elementry schools contributed much. However Ministry of Education repealed the statute about the facilities of the schools at September in 1997 and made a law about the establishment and management of the schools except universities. Therefore, the size of the classrooms are changed from 7.5¡¿9.0m to 8.0¡¿8.0m, 8.1¡¿8.1m, 8.1¡¿8.4m, 8.4¡¿8.4m etc. The plan and design of such perfect square forced the students to study all day long in the non-standardized classrooms. The sight distance, the height, the sound of the classrooms and fatigue of the students are telling the poverty of the facilities condition.
As you can see passing away the effciency and improvement of the enviornment, the perfect square design has raised some problems of movement and fatigue of the students. By solving these and creating the delightful environment, the adequate size of the classrooms will be fixed as soon as possible.
