요약2 Sound insulation efficiency is more important in broadcast system in contrast to usual buildings. Therefore, the efficiency from simulation of sound insulation is applied to design in planning phase; however, measured sound insulation efficiency after completion is normally indicated lower than the planned efficiency. Thus, in this study, it is willing to implement MOCK-UP TEST on sound insulation wall materials in order to present accurate planning method before applying estimated soundproofing plan from the simulation in planning phase of broadcast facilities. For a successful investigation, experimentation is processed with a broadcast system under construction, and four different types of wall materials are chosen depending on sound source and usage of room, and required amount of acoustic isolation is designated due to acceptable indoor noise level. Moreover, MOCK-UP experimental space was built at the broadcast system site for the MOCK-UP TEST, and four types of wall materials under the simulation were observed by external institution which is requested by the construction contractor. According to result of comparing the simulation and MOCK-UP TEST, sound insulation efficiencies seem less than required in some of frequency band except one of the wall materials. If MOCK-UP TEST was not performed, it would be difficult to guarantee the required isolation efficiency after the completion. From the result, in case of constructing insulation material in building site, the efficiency would be varied due to the constructor’s ability; therefore, sufficient efficiency should be secured in advance. Also, contractor requires processing MOCK-UP TEST to make sure that sound segregation level would meet the demand after the completion. Finally, weak parts for gaining soundproofing efficiency such as joining parts of upper and lower slab of drywall, and penetrated area on sound insulation wall due to facilities have to be conducted to prevent sound leak. According to the result, in case of building which requires proper grade of acoustic isolation, MOCK-UP Test in pre-construction phase is desired to figure out quality of contractor and weakness in sound isolation. Therefore, it is expected to achieve an appropriate acoustic isolation when decent means and methods from the test are applied.
